Vaughan Infrastructure was awarded the Sydney Airport electrical cable upgrade contract, where we are constructing and delivering an upgrade to the existing 11kV feeder cable between the CA Substation and ATSC Substation. Our scope is inclusive of airside electrical, civil and building works to facilitate the cable upgrade. 

Scope of works include: 

• Installation of new 11kV cabling between CA Substation and ATSC Substation 

• Supply and Installation of new cable tray through entire length of General Holmes Drive Tunnel 

• Installation of 500m of 6-way conduit route 

• Protection upgrade works at CA Substation and ATSC Substation 

• Building works required to facilitate the Works and operational requirements of the new equipment; and 

• Ensuring N-2 redundancy is always maintained within the HV network 

• Associated jointing and commissioning to new network in line with Sydney Airport standards.
