The Sydney Airport Qantas (QF) Valet Stage 2 project provides Terminal 3 (T3) customers with the opportunity to drop off their vehicle adjacent to the terminal. 

The works involve the removal of remaining redundant kerbs to further improve valet operational efficiency, congestion leading into the valet, and provide a new canopy to increase covered areas for customer drop off and pick up. 

Detailed scope: 

• Clearing and demolition 

• Tree removal 

• Cleaning and painting of the existing canopy structures, including ceiling 

• Construction of new kerb islands, footpaths and medians 

• Construction of new pavements 

• Linemarking, signage and road furniture 

• Remove and replace lighting in existing canopy 

• Treatment of existing services, and installation of new services 

• Coordination of Separate Contractor to install car parking technology at entry and exit booths 

• Installation of footings for future canopy and services provisions over two lane entry and exit booths 

• Construct new metal canopy to cover pick up and drop off areas, including fire protection systems as necessary.
