Vaughan Infrastructure were awarded the CMW Tunneling package (electrical scope). The Sydney Metro West Project – Central Tunneling Package comprises twin 6m diameter TBM tunnels running approximately 11km from the launch shaft at The Bays to the retrieval shaft at Sydney Olympic Park. 

Scope of works include: 

• Coordinating works with Ausgrid representatives 2000m 

• Trenching, conduit install and backfill for all proposed underground electrical network to Ausgrid Standards 

• Supply and installation of 6 HV Kiosk 

• Supply and install of 12 new poles, including supply and install of new overhead electrical cabling and UGOHs as required by the approved Ausgrid drawings 

• 3500m of cable installation 

• Coordinating and undertaking works necessary to complete outages and cutovers 

• Carrying out all ASP Level 1 & 2 works 

• Removal of all redundant temporary assets (Cables and conduit)
